BBB Wise Giving Alliance‘s Programs

BBB Wise Giving Alliance works to help donors make wise giving decisions and help charities build trust. We produce evaluative reports on charities based on 20 BBB Standards for Charity Accountability that address four charity areas: governance, results reporting, finances, and truthful and transparent communications.  All our reports can be found at give.org. In addition to charity reports, we produce a Wise Giving Guide magazine three times a year, a weekly Wise Giving Wednesday blog, and annual Give.org Donor Trust Reports with special editions, for example, on the COVID pandemic and other topics give.org/donortrust. Our staff provides charities direct support to help them improve their governance, results reporting, finances and truthful and transparent communication practices. We also encourage collaboration between charities through our Advancing Collaboration initiatives and offer Intercession meetings for charities to learn about and discuss relevant topics.
